The Civil Park at Hemisphere Project Team, consisting of Weston Roof (Project Manager), Gordon Kelley (Project Engineer), George Meredith (Area Superintendent), and Cayetano Macias (Foreman), was recognized as the Skanska Subcontractor of the Month for July. The objective for the last few months was to complete the structural soil import scope to get out in front of the other trades so that the job schedule could be followed, and that's exactly what the team achieved by utilizing just-in-time deliveries, proper equipment utilization, and first-class operators. It takes a whole team to deliver these results. The support from the Austin branch by Roof and Kelley has been instrumental in keeping the San Antonio workforce on track, along with preplanning to stay on budget and on schedule.
