The Minnesota branch celebrated One BrightView by coming together as a team to pack food for Feed My Starving Children. They worked together to represent their branch in a positive way in the community. This fun group continues to bring that same enthusiasm to each other and all clients.

While the Sun City team was onboarding their new H-2B team members, they discovered that a father and son were separated during the process, with the father going to the Sun City branch in Florida and the son to the Vista branch in California. Once each branch was made aware of the situation, they worked together to find transportation for the son and Vista willingly gave up a visa spot to allow the two to reunite in Florida. It was truly a cross-country team effort which exemplified One BrightView and making sure our team members were taken care of.

The Austin team was recognized as the Skanska Subcontractor of the Month in July for their work at the Civil Park at Hemisphere. The team set a goal to complete a structural soil import scope in quick time by utilizing just-in-time deliveries, proper equipment utilization, and first-class operators. Their work put them in front of the other trades so the job schedule could be on time.

BrightView is a family, but for two branches in California, it really is the case. This family connection includes husband and Menlo Park Branch Manager Steve Anders, wife and Pleasanton Branch Administrator Rosa Anders, and daughter and Pleasanton Development, Hiring & Training Manager Mychal Anders. Each of them collaborates and contributes their diverse skills to their own teams while often sharing resources: people power, equipment, and knowledge.

Intermountain Plantings and Syringa, who each are in the process of rebranding to BrightView, are embracing the One BrightView mindset by not only merging the two business units together, but also by focusing on transitioning all client sites built by their Development teams to being maintained by BrightView's Maintenance team. This has proven to benefit BrightView and their clients and should create more opportunity for profitable growth.
